Planning a date night soon with the man in your life? Why not go to the movies?
Oh, those men just love a romantic film about relationships! NOT.
If you can get your guy out to the theaters we'd like to suggest the film, Not Easily Broken. The film is based on the novel by Bishop TD Jakes and directed by Bill Duke. Starring actors Morris Chestnut, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart and Jenifer Lewis. Here's a brief synopsis:
After years of disagreeing on what true happiness, success, and love really are, Dave and Clarice Johnson have finally reached a breaking point in their marriage. Adversity and challenge have exposed weaknesses in their relationship. As temptation tugs at Dave and Clarice pulls farther away, they must confront whether their vows are or are NOT EASILY BROKEN.
Ideally it would be great to see this film with HIM and have stimulation conversation afterwards. But if he's not up for it, don't hesitate to take this one in alone or with the girls!
Don't forget to let us know what you thought of the film!

Oh, I love films like that! I want to see that one soon! We saw "Fireproof" and he loved it! He actually likes these marriage "therapy" type movies...
Aren't you lucky! My man hates them. He tends to fall asleep in movies anyway, it doesn't matter what type.
I just saw TD Jakes on Larry King last week. So I heard about the film then. I will try and drag him out :) wish me luck
My guy can do a romantic film every once in a while. He'd be up for this one, since the cast is good.
Taraji is so under-rated. Her career is going to EXPLODE this year! She is one of my favorites.
I have to admit I'm a sucker for the marriage "therapy" movies as well. Tyler Perry's "Why did I get Married" was the last I've seen so I'm definitely due. This one is definitely next on my 'go see' list.
"Why Did I Get Married" is one of my favorites as well. My husband did take this one in with me and enjoyed it. Again, the cast.
I wanted to take it a step further and rent a cabin, invite other couples for a weekend retreat. And he said, not so much!
