Reading this, I can't help but think of The Atlanta Housewives show and how they aren't really housewives in my opinion. I don't think its fair that the media showcases their lifestyles as if they are housewives. I want some representation of REAL housewives that work hard, take care of their own households. (Cooking, cleaning and raising their own children.)Not staff, such as maids & chefs and Nannys. Where are the props for the REAL wives out their?

I am guilty of playing into some of the stereotypes about married life I think. Just reading the mission of this organization, I feel motivated to switch it up a little. Thanks for the inspiration!

OMG, the Real Housewives of ATL is nothing but a REAL joke. I heard just today that NeNe has been put out of her house due to foreclosure. ATL is notorious for flossing and fronting.
I am sending a shout out to you! All the For-Real Housewives out there. As i log off to do homework and cook dinner now!

I see someone is watching their Bravo TV. I love their programming and have to admit the Atlanta Housewives was one of my guilty pleasures. The show is only one perspective. Although these women may not fit the traditional image of a "housewife" they are still wives.
In fact, on the local news in Atlanta an investigative report aired about NeNe. Here is the link to cut & paste:

NeNe was one of my favorite housewives too. I hope these ladies come out on top!

I am definitely a Spicy Wifey and whole-heartedly believe in your mission to showcase not only thriving marriages, but teaching those couples the importance of putting the work in to maintain a marriage.

I am a second wife (my husband was married once before, but this is my first marriage), and I emphasize to all of my blended family wives the importance of not allowing the complicated dynamics of a blended family to overshadow your marriage! Although we face many more challenges than a traditional married couple; at the end of the day we are still a married couple. You MUST take the time to remind your spouse of how much you love him or her. It's important if you want to keep it spicy!

Great idea! I think I'll pass it along to my blended family spicy wifeys.

Being married multiple times may present more problems in marriage, but can also have some advantages. At least one spouse has been married before and has learned some lessons. Your husband may know exactly what he wants in a lot areas that 1st timers may not. Either way, all husbands want to feel love. And every man likes SPICE!
