DeShawn Snow - No longer a Housewife

DeShawn Snow was recently told by producers of the Bravo network television show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, that she would no longer be a cast member. The Real Housewives of Atlanta received the highest ratings in the history of the show!

Despite the drama filled reality show featuring affluent wives and their lavish lifestyles, DeShawn's life appeared to be fairly free of the drama essential to the reality tv formula. She developed the reputation of being the "peacemaker" amongst the cast of ladies. Which may explain why producers decided to not have DeShawn join the cast this season. Rumors circulated the Tameka Foster Raymond, (Usher's wife) would be joining the cast. Tameka, has stated that is untrue.

DeShawn told Essence Magazine in an exclusive that,"she didn't see it coming."

DeShawn was able to use her time in the spotlight to promote The DeShawn Snow Foundation.
And in last seasons reunion show, DeShawn seemed to have many ambitions she planned to pursue, including ministry.

Do you think DeShawn's absence from the show will affect viewership? Are you a fan of DeShawn or the Real Housewives of Atlanta?

As long as NeNe is still on the show I will be a faithful viewer!! To be honest I think she flaunted it all a little too much. I mean that fundraiser she had?? wtf? Also the show made it sound like she had her house built by some hollywood designer and we found out that wasn't true. Oh well. NeNe and Lisa are my favs!!!

There is something about NeNe, she made the show for me too! And her stylist friend...I bet they end up with their own shows one day. I can't wait to see what the ladies have been up to. And its January, has anyone seen Kims CD? LOL

BOORRRIIINNNGGG! Is the best way to describe DeShawn. She won't be missed. I am not a huge fan of the show really. But did catch a few episodes.

I guess it hurt my feelings to see how little these women where actual "REAL" housewives. I love Bravo shows. (Project Runway, Top Chef, Flipping Out) So I decided to tune in. I was expecting something different I think. It was disappointing that the show was so unauthentic like Bravo's other shows.

They put her off because she didn't bring enough drama. That wouldn't be a problem if that 'drama free' 'little Ms. Perfect' image didn't seem so phony. They are all pretty much a mess, but I have to agree if they brought NeNe's stylist in as part of the cast or with a show of his own, that would be something to see.

Her stylist isn't too far off from what it takes to be on the show. Works for me. Perfect replacement.
